DPS has started a project to build a climate community together with the city of Stuttgart and BABLE GmbH, a specialist for SmartCity concepts.
The project’s purpose is to establish an interactive, socially-networked, user-friendly, and secure online community that allows citizens to coordinate climate measures locally. The City of Stuttgart supports the project within the framework of the Climate Innovation Fund.
The community’s first version will go online in mid-2022 and will be expanded by tools and services as it proceeds.
For DPS, this project revolves around more than just technical innovation. Here, in particular, it is also about demonstrating digital solutions’ contribution in the field of climate protection at the local level.
